Tibet, 18th ct,H. 19 cm
Seated in vajrasana on a lotus-base with both hands in dharmacakramudra, originally holding pair of lotuses flowering along his upper arms, wearing monastic garment including a mantle draped over his left shoulder, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows running into the nose-bridge and his head topped with the specific bonnet, resealed.
From a private collection in southern Germany (Formerly the J. R. Belmont von Rickenbach Collection, acquired in Asia in the 1940s), received by inheritance in 1985
